Mwatisi Safaris Ltd. Was founded in Tanzania in 2004 by owner and operator, Mr. Sherdell O. Sherdell. Mr. Sherdell is recognized as one of the most industrious and dependable operators and professional hunters in all of Tanzania. Along with his team of professional hunters, Mr. Sherdell continues to build his reputation by providing personalized quality service ensuring that his clients achieve their desired results and make lasting memories.

Mr. Sherdell learned the basic skills of professional hunting from his father, who was a successful elephant and crocodile hunter in the late 1950's through the early 1970's. Following in the footsteps of his father's legacy, Mr. Sherdell further honed his skills as a professional hunter while working with other well-known Tanzanian safari companies from 1990 through 2008.
